My journey with fashion started long before Edge Abah existed. Growing up, we didn't have much. I wore the same clothes for years, and my school uniform often lasted much longer than it should have because replacing it wasn't always an option. Despite that, I paid attention to people who dressed well. I admired the confidence they carried and the way a good outfit could completely transform how someone presented themselves. As I grew older, that admiration turned into curiosity. I wanted to understand clothing beyond just wearing it. I wanted to know how it was made. What started as a personal interest slowly became something bigger. Every outfit I made taught me something new, not just about sewing, but about people. I saw how much joy, confidence, and pride a well-made outfit could bring. As more people trusted me with their clothing, I began to see fashion differently. This wasn't just a skill anymore. It was something I could use to serve people, tell stories, and create pieces that reflected both identity and culture. That realization gave birth to Edge Abah. Today, Edge Abah represents the journey from a young boy who admired well-dressed people from a distance to a designer creating pieces worn by others with pride.
